Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Symantec Network Access Control. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can place an executable in the root path to cause arbitrary code to be executed during application startup.

Gavin Jones with NCC Group Ltd reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (12.1 RU2).
