Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in PostgreSQL. A remote authenticated user can read arbitrary files on the target system. A remote authenticated user can write files on the target system.

A remote authenticated user can exploit a flaw in the XSLT implementation (libxslt) to read arbitrary files and write files on the target system [CVE-2012-3488].

A remote authenticated user can exploit a flaw in the XML2 extension (libxml2) to read arbitrary files on the target system [CVE-2012-3489].

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can read arbitrary files on the target system.

A remote authenticated user can write files on the target system.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (8.3.20, 8.4.13, 9.0.9, 9.1.5).
