Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Apple iOS. A local user (application) can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local application can exploit a flaw to execute remotely supplied unsigned code with the privileges of the application.

The vendor was notified on October 14, 2011.

Charlie Miller of Accuvant reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local application can run unsigned code obtained from a remote location.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (5.0.1 (9A405)).
