Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in TIBCO Spotfire Server. A remote user can conduct cross-site scripting and session fixation attacks. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information.

A remote user can cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the target user's browser [CVE-2011-3132]. The code will originate from the site running the TIBCO Spotfire software and will run in the security context of that site. As a result, the code will be able to access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with the site, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user.

A remote user can conduct a session fixation attack to hijack a target user's web session [CVE-2011-3133].

A remote user can submit specially crafted URLs to obtain or modify information [CVE-2011-3134].

Impact:   A remote user can access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with the site running the TIBCO Spotfire software, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user.

A remote user can hijack a target user's web session.

A remote user can obtain or modify potentially sensitive information.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (3.0.2, 3.1.2, 3.2.1, 3.3.1; Analytics Server version 10.1.1).
