Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Symantec Web Gateway. A remote user can inject SQL commands.

The management GUI does not properly validate user-supplied input. A remote user can supply a specially crafted parameter value to execute SQL commands on the underlying database.

The 'username' parameter of 'forget.php' is affected (via POST request).

The vendor was notified on April 1, 2011.

An anonymous researcher reported this vulnerability via TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative.

Impact:   A remote user can execute SQL commands on the underlying database.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (5.0.1).
