Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in HP OpenView Storage Data Protector. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to TCP port 5555 to trigger a stack overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Nahuel C. Riva and Oren Isacson of Core Security Technologies reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (Data Protector A.06.20).
