Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Symantec Endpoint Protection. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to cause 'fw_charts.php' to overwrite arbitrary files on the target system that can be subsequently executed.

The remote user must be on a system that has both the Symantec Endpoint (SEP) client and that is authenticated to the target SEP server.

The vendor was notified on April 6, 2010.

Andrea Micalizzi aka rgod reported this vulnerability via TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative.

Impact:   A remote user can overwrite arbitrary files and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (11 RU6 MP1).
