Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Linux Kernel. A local user can cause denial of service conditions.

A local user can invoke the io_submit_one() function to trigger a null pointer dereference and cause the kernel to crash.

Tavis Ormandy reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a source code fix [in 2007], available at:
