Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Unified Intelligent Contact Management. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to the setup agent (agent.exe) on TCP port 40078 to trigger a stack overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.

The vendor was notified on June 1, 2010.

Cisco has assigned Cisco bug IDs CSCti45698, CSCti45715, CSCti45726, and CSCti46164 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (7.0), which removes the vulnerable 'agent.exe' program.
