Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Novell ZENworks Handheld Management. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to 'ZfHIPCND.exe' on TCP port 2400 to trigger a heap overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.

The vendor was notified on August 25, 2010.

An anonymous researcher reported this vulnerability via TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
