Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Citrix XenServer. A local user can cause denial of service conditions.

A local user on a guest operating system using a pvops kernel can make a specially crafted call to the host to cause XenServer to incorrectly set flags and deny service on the host.

Systems running HVM and/or standard PV guests are not affected.

Tor Martin Slaen and Vegard Nossum of Sygard.no reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
