Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM Systems Director. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

The file permissions are not correct for certain files. A local user may be able to modify files on the target system to cause arbitrary code to be executed with elevated privileges.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (APAR PM08236).

The fix will be included in the version 6.1.2.3 agent package.
