Description:
Several vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Internet Explorer. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information.
A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
Accessing a deleted or incorrectly initialized object can trigger code execution [CVE-2010-0267]. Secunia reported this vulnerability.
A race condition in accessing an object can trigger code execution [CVE-2010-0489].
Accessing a deleted or incorrectly initialized object can trigger code execution [CVE-2010-0490]. Alexander Kornbrust of Red Database Security reported this vulnerability. Ivan Fratric of iSIGHT Partners Global Vulnerability Partnership also reported this vulnerability.
Accessing a deleted or incorrectly initialized object can trigger code execution [CVE-2010-0491]. Wushi of team509 reported this vulnerability via VeriSign iDefense Labs.
Accessing a deleted or incorrectly initialized object can trigger code execution [CVE-2010-0492]. Simon Zuckerbraun reported this vulnerability via TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative.
A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will exploit a flaw in an ActiveX control in the processing of long URLs and execute arbitrary code [CVE-2010-0805]. The CLSID of the vulnerable control is: 333C7BC4-460F-11D0-BC04-0080C7055A83. An anonymous researcher reported this vulnerability via TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative.
Accessing a deleted object can trigger code execution [CVE-2010-0807]. ADLab of VenusTech reported this vulnerability.
A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will gain access to a browser window in another domain or Internet Explorer zone on the target user's system [CVE-2010-0494]. Paul Stone of Context Information Security reported this vulnerability.
A remote user can create HTML with specially encoded strings that, when loaded and submitted by the target user, will disclose information from the target user's system to the remote user [CVE-2010-0488]. Daiki Fukumori of Cyber Defense Institute Inc. reported this vulnerability.
