Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Squid. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote trusted client or external server can send specially crafted DNS packets to cause the target service to become unavailable for a short period of time.

Tomas Hoger of RedHat reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (3.0.STABLE22 and 3.1.0.16).
