Description:   A vulnerability was reported in acpid. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can open a large number of sockets and not close them to cause acpid to enter an infinite loop and consume excessive CPU resources on the target system.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service to enter an infinite loop and consume excessive CPU resources on the target system.
