Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Symantec Endpoint Protection in the Symantec Reporting Server component. A remote user can cause arbitrary messages to be displayed.

A remote user can exploit a URL handling error in the Reporting Server login screen to display a message of their choice on the Reporting Server login screen.

Dave Lewis of LiquidMatrix reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause arbitrary messages to be displayed on the login screen.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (11.0 MR2).
