Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Solaris Kerberos. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

The Kerberos Incremental Propagation daemon (kpropd) does not properly timeout. A remote user on a system that can access a master Key Distribution Center (KDC) server can prevent propagation of incremental propagation requests to slave KDC servers.

Impact:   A remote user on a system that can access a master Key Distribution Center (KDC) server can prevent propagation of incremental propagation requests to slave KDC servers.
Solution:   Sun has issued the following fixes.

SPARC Platform

* Solaris 10 with patch 138371-05 or later
* Opensolaris based upon build snv_111 or later

x86 Platform

* Solaris 10 with patch 138372-05 or later
* Opensolaris based upon build snv_111 or later
