Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Mozilla Firefox. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory management error in the garbage collection process and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
A page containing a set of cloned XUL DOM elements that are linked as a parent and child can trigger this vulnerability when the page is reloaded.
Mozilla SeaMonkey is affected.
An anonymous researcher reported this vulnerability via TippingPoint.
