Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Solaris lpadmin and ppdmgr utilities. A local user can cause denial of service conditions.

A local user can exploit flaws in the Solaris lpadmin(1M) and the ppdmgr(1M) print utilities to deny service to certain system services or to deny service to the target system.

Mike Gerdts reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
