Description:   A vulnerability was reported in VERITAS File System (VxFS). A local user can obtain potentially sensitive information.

A local user can exploit flaws in two commands that are part of the Quick I/O for Database feature.

A local user can invoke the qiomkfile command to view the contents of uninitialized file system blocks.

A local user can invoke the qioadmin command to redirect the contents of arbitrary files to standard error.

Derek Callaway of Security Objectives reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information.
