Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Solaris in the e1000g Gigabit Ethernet driver. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

On systems with Intel 82571/82572 network interface controllers, a remote user can block all inbound network traffic.

Impact:   A remote user can block inbound network traffic.
Solution:   The vendor has issued the following fix.

SPARC Platform

* Solaris 10 with patch 137289-01 or later
* OpenSolaris based upon builds snv_93 or later

x86 Platform

* Solaris 10 with patch 137293-01 or later
* OpenSolaris based upon builds snv_93 or later
