Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in Visio. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.

A remote user can create a specially crafted Visio file that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

Specially crafted object header data can trigger code execution [CVE-2008-1089].

Specially crafted .DXF files loaded from disk can trigger code execution [CVE-2008-1090].

Microsoft Visio 2002 Viewer, Visio 2003 Viewer, Visio 2007 Viewer, and Visio 2007 Viewer SP1 are not affected.

An anonymous researcher reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can create a file that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued the following fixes:
