Description:   A vulnerability was reported in VERITAS Storage Foundation in the Volume Manager Scheduler Service. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to cause the target 'VxSchedService.exe' service to crash.

The administrator must restart the service.

iDefense Labs reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
