Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Sun SPARC Enterprise Server. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to the telnet, ssh, or httpd daemons to cause the the XSCF Control Package to consume excessive memory and reboot.

Impact:   A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
Solution:   Sun has issued a firmware fix (XCP version 1050 or later), available from the Sun Download Center at:
