Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in Bugzilla. A remote user can execute arbitrary commands on the target system. A remote user can conduct cross-site scripting attacks. A remote user can obtain restricted information.

The software does not properly validate user-supplied input to the '-f' option of the Email::Send::Sendmail() function. A remote user can supply a specially crafted URL to cause the target system to execute arbitrary commands. The code will run with the privileges of the target web service.

The guided form does not properly filter HTML code from user-supplied input in the 'buildid' parameter before displaying the input. A remote user can cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the target user's browser. The code will originate from the site running the Bugzilla software and will run in the security context of that site. As a result, the code will be able to access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with the site, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user.

A remote user can invoke the WebService (XML-RPC) interface to access the time-tracking fields of all bugs, even if the user is not permitted to access the fields.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the target web service.

A remote user can access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with the site running the Bugzilla software, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user.

A remote user can obtain restricted information.

Solution:   The vendor has issued fixed versions (2.20.5, 2.22.3, and 3.0.1).
