Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Stinger. A remote user can bypass validation filters.

The J2EE HttpServletRequest API does not properly handle multipart encoded requests. As a result, function calls such as getParameter() and getParameterNames() will fail to return the body of the request. A remote user can exploit this to bypass filter-based validation.

The vendor was notified on July 18, 2007.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fixed version (2.5).
