Description:
A vulnerability was reported in IBM AIX. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
A local user with 'printq' user group privileges can invoke the lpd command trigger a buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code with root privileges on the target system.
The vendor discovered this vulnerability during an internal audit.

The vendor has issued the following fixes.
For 5.2.0: IY98560
For 5.3.0: IY98339
