Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Perl Net::DNS. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send a specially crafted DNS packet with self-referencing pointers to cause the target service to enter an infinite loop and consume excessive resources on the target system.

Impact:   A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fixed version (0.60).
