Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Solaris inetd. A local user can cause denial of service conditions.
A local user can cause the inetd(1M) service to shutdown, affecting all network services managed by inetd.
Solaris 8 and 9 are not affected.

A local user can shutdown inetd and stop all services managed by the daemon.

Sun has issued the following fixes.
SPARC Platform
* Solaris 10 with patch 121288-03 or later
x86 Platform
* Solaris 10 with patch 121289-04 or later
