Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Word. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.

A remote user can create a specially crafted Word document that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

A specially crafted array or rich text properties can trigger code execution.

Microsoft Works Suite 2004, 2005, and 2006 are also affected.

Microsoft Word 2007 is not affected.

Microsoft credits iDefense Labs with reporting the RTF parsing vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can create a file that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
