Description:
A vulnerability was reported in IBM AIX. A local user may be able to obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
A local user can supply a specially crafted path name to the drmgr command to trigger a buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.

Solution:
The vendor has issued a fix (APAR IY96772 for AIX 5.2, APAR IY95054 and IY96753 for AIX 5.3).
