Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Solaris in the TCP fusion code. A local user can cause denial of service conditions.

A local user can invoke the tcp_fuse_rcv_drain() function when using TCP loopback connections to trigger a null pointer dereference and cause a system panic.

Solaris 8 and 9 are not affected.

Impact:   A local user can cause a system panic on the target system.
Solution:   Sun has issued a fix.

* Solaris 10 with patch 118833-23 or later

x86 Platform

* Solaris 10 with patch 118855-19 or later
