Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Symantec NetBackup PureDisk Remote Office Edition. A remote user can gain access to the target system.

A remote user with access to the network and the system hosting the NetBackup PureDisk management interface can bypass authentication and gain elevated privileges on the target system.

The vendor discovered this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can bypass authentication and gain elevated privileges on the target system.
