Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Sun Java Application Server (Sun ONE). A remote user can view files on the target system.

The software does not properly validate user-supplied input in UTF-8 encoded URIs. A remote user can supply a specially crafted request to view certain files on target system that are located outside of the document root directory.

Impact:   A remote user can view certain files on the target system.
Solution:   Sun has issued the following fixes (Sun Java System Web Server is also affected):
