Description:   Hamid Ebadi of IRAN HOMELAND SECURITY team reported a vulnerability in Stud.IP. A remote user can include and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The software does not properly validate user-supplied input. A remote user can supply a specially crafted URL to cause the target system to include and execute arbitrary PHP code from a remote location. The PHP code, including operating system commands, will run with the privileges of the target web service.

The '_PHPLIB[libdir] parameter in 'studip-phplib/' and the 'ABSOLUTE_PATH_STUDIP' parameter in 'studip-htdocs/archiv_assi.php' is affected. Other scripts are also affected.

Vulnerable Systems:
	studip 1.3.0-2 and below

Input passed to the "_PHPLIB[libdir]" parameter in
studip-phplib/ and to the
"ABSOLUTE_PATH_STUDIP"  parameter in
studip-htdocs/archiv_assi.php is not properly verified
before being used to include files.
This can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code by
including files from local or external resources.

Vulnerable Code :
//Vulnerable Code :line 378
include($_PHPLIB["libdir"] . "");
include($_PHPLIB["libdir"] . "");
include($_PHPLIB["libdir"] . "");
include($_PHPLIB["libdir"] . "");
include($_PHPLIB["libdir"] . "");
include($_PHPLIB["libdir"] . "");

Vulnerable Code :
//Vulnerable Code :line 22
require_once($ABSOLUTE_PATH_STUDIP . "");
// Funktionen zum Loeschen von Terminen
require_once($ABSOLUTE_PATH_STUDIP . "");
// Funktionen zum Loeschen von Dokumenten

NOTE : archiv_assi.php is just one of Vulnerable file
, you can find this vulnerability in many other studip
simply search for "ABSOLUTE_PATH_STUDIP" and see the
result .
here are some example :

Successful exploitation requires that
"register_globals" is enabled.
in most cases "register_globals" is enable because
// line 225
register_globals = on
This option must be set in any case, as Stud.IP will
only work with global
variables at this time.

POC Exploits:

The following URL will cause the server to include
external files

Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly
