Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Microsoft's RPC Mutual Authentication on Windows 2000. A remote user could spoof a valid RPC server.

The system does not properly validate the identity of the RPC server when using mutual authentication over a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection. A remote user may be able to impersonate a valid RPC server.

Microsoft credits Michael Colson of Symantec with reporting this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can impersonate a valid server.
