Description:   A vulnerability was reported in MySQL. A remote user can inject SQL commands.

The server does not properly parse user-supplied input that escaped with the mysql_real_escape() function. A remote user can supply a specially crafted multibyte encoded value to execute SQL commands on the underlying database.

Josh Berkus and Tom Lane discovered this vulnerability as part of the inter-project security collaboration of the OSDB consortium.

Impact:   A remote user can execute SQL commands on the underlying database.
