Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
A remote user can trigger a stack overflow to cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target system. The code will run with System level privileges.
In Managed Mode, the affected service may be listening on TCP port 2967.
Norton products are not affected.
Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition versions 8.0, 8.1, and 9.0 are not affected.
The vendor was notified on May 24, 2006.
