Description:   A vulnerability was reported in WebLogic Server. JDBC security policies may be removed.

When JDBC security policies are set, the console may not set the policies correctly. As a result, an administrator's actions may inadvertently remove security policies for JDBC resources.

Impact:   JDBC security policies may be incorrectly removed.
Solution:   The vendor has issued the following solution [quoted]:

WebLogic Server 9.0

1. Install the 9.0 GA Combo patch from by requesting Bug ID CR239280.
2. Download the patch from:
3. Follow the instructions in the README file contained therein.

Version 9.1 includes the fix for this vulnerability.
