Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Microsoft Outlook Express. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.

A remote user can create a specially crafted Windows Address Book (.wab) file that, when opened by the target user, will trigger a buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

Microsoft credits Stuart Pearson working with TippingPoint and also ATmaCA with reporting this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system with the privileges of the target user.
Solution:   Microsoft has issued a fix as part of a cumulative update.
