Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM's AIX operating system. A local user can gain root privileges.

A flaw exists in mklvcopy when calling external commands. A local user with system group privileges can execute arbitrary commands with root user privileges.

Yang Jilong of NSFocus Security Team discovered this vulnerability.
