Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Citrix Program Neighborhood client. A remote user may be able to cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.

The UDP-based application enumeration mechanism contains a vulnerability. A remote user (application) can return a long, specially crafted application name to the connected client to trigger a buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code.

The Citrix Web client and the Citrix Program Neighborhood Agent client are not affected.

The vendor credits iDEFENSE with reporting this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fixed version (9.150) of the Program Neighborhood client, available at:
