Description:   A vulnerability was reported in ftpd on HP-UX. A remote authenticated user can view directory listings on the target system.

A remote authenticated user, including anonymous users, can send specially crafted data to list directories with root privileges. The LIST command is affected.

Optyx disclosed this vulnerability as part of a Metasploit Framework file.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can view directory listings on the target system with root privileges.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix, available at:

HP-UX B.11.00:

PHNE_23949 or subsequent

HP-UX B.11.04:

PHNE_24395 or subsequent
