Description:   A vulnerability was reported in pwdx on Sun Solaris. A local user can view process directory information.

A local user can exploit a vulnerability in the Solaris 10 Process File System (procfs) to view process working directories for all other system and user processes. As a result, the user may be able to see file names in these directories.

Solaris 8 and 9 are not affected.

Impact:   A local user can view process working directories for other system and user processes.
Solution:   Sun has issued the following fixes.

SPARC Platform

* Solaris 10 with patch 118822-19 or later

X86 Platform

* Solaris 10 with patch 118844-19 or later
