Version(s): firmware version 2.42; model 2100, 2110. 2120, 2420
Description:   A denial of service vulnerability was reported in Axis Network Camera and Network Video products. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target device.

NISCC reported that a remote user can send a specially crafted DNS response with a spoofed source address of the localhost interface to the target device, causing the target DNS service to respond to the message, and then continue responding to the responses. As a result, a query-respose storm will occur, causing denial of service conditions on the target device.

The Axis 2100, 2110. 2120, and 2420 Network Cameras (Release 2.42) are affected. The Axis 2400+ and 2401+ Network Video Servers (Release 3.13) and the Axis 2460 Network DVR (Release 3.13) are also affected.

The flaws were discovered by Roy Arends and Jakob Schlyter.
