Description:   A potential vulnerability was reported in phpCodeGenie. A remote authenticated user can execute arbitrary PHP code on the target system.

The vendor reported that a remote authenticated user can place arbitrary code in the simple application generation headers or footers and then execute the code by loading the application (Web/generatedCode/simple/applicationName). The PHP code, including operating system commands, will run with the privileges of the target web service.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary PHP code, including operating system commands, with the privileges of the target web service.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fixed version (3.0.2), available at:
