Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Yeemp instant messaging client. A remote user can send a file, spoofing the identity of the sender.

The vendor reported that the software fails to check encryption on inbound files. A remote user can send a spoofed file that will not be detected by the target system as a spoofed file.

Impact:   A remote user can send a file and spoof the identity of the sender.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fixed version (0.9.10), available at:
