Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Davenport WebDAV SMB gateway. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

The vendor reported that a remote user can conduct XML-based denial of service attacks against the target system, including entity expansion attacks and parsing attacks. A remote user can send a document containing specially crafted entities or send an "extremely large" XML document to cause the target service to consume excessive resources in processing the document.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service to consume excessive CPU resources.
