Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Unity Express. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a Java deserialization flaw and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system. The code will run with root privileges.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvm02856 to this vulnerability.

Joshua Graham of TSS reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can create content that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
